The moment I placed Goku and Krillin on the stage, it was like I time-traveled. I could practically hear the announcer yelling and the crowd cheering. It's clear this set was made by fans, for fans. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting to feel this much from a model kit, but here we are. Worth every penny.
I wasn’t sure how detailed a wooden arena model could be, but I was blown away. Even the roof texture mimics the show perfectly, and the layout is instantly recognizable. I also appreciate that the acrylic standees were included—it made it feel complete right out of the box. It's one of those rare collectibles that looks good and feels meaningful.
Every piece of this model reminded me of watching Dragon Ball after school with my brother. The build process was smooth, the pieces were well-made, and the instructions were beginner-friendly. The finished display looks incredible, and the vibrant colors really pop on my shelf. I took so many photos once it was complete. Easily one of the best anime models I’ve ever built.
I’ve collected Dragon Ball figures, posters, and even older model kits, but this is on a different level. The Tenkaichi Budōkai arena is such an iconic part of the series, and seeing it recreated so faithfully brought back a wave of memories. From the thatched-roof entrance to the detailed tiled stage, everything feels like it was pulled straight out of the anime. I love that it works with both the acrylic standees and my own figures. Puremind really delivered something special here.
